PURE FORGED, PURE SRIXON
The feeling you get with the Srixon ZXiU Utility Iron isn’t just powerful—it’s pure. These all-new ZXi irons are crafted using the revolutionary i-Forged technology, an innovative formula that strengthens each club to deliver superior feel. The result? Enhanced distance, forgiveness, and control. Designed for those who are always aiming for victory, every strike comes with pure performance.
FEEL. DISTANCE. CONTROL.
The Srixon ZXiU Utility Golf Iron is a fantastic long iron replacement, trusted by even tour professionals. Offering excellent power, control, and forgiveness, Srixon Irons feature a sleek, blade-like design and minimal offset.
IDEAL STEEL
When it comes to the softest steel we’ve ever used in an iron, we chose S15C. This steel makes the ZXi7 7% softer, while the ZXi5 and Srixon ZXiU face plates are 14% softer. The ZXi4 even features the SUS17-47 for its body, giving it a unique softness.
CONDENSED FORGING
We know that feel is critical, which is why we use softer steels. But we also understand that strength is key. That’s why we use Condensed Forging to combine both. Here’s how it works:
Hydraulic dies forge red-hot billets into the shape of the Srixon ZXiU, imprinting raised features on the rough iron. A second forge condenses these features back into the clubhead, strengthening specific areas without compromising feel.
- Condensed Forging is featured on the ZXi7, ZXi5, and Srixon ZXiU Utility Irons.*
HEAT SOFTENING
By adding localized strength with Condensed Forging, we’re able to fine-tune the temperature in our heat-treating ovens, resulting in the softest treatments ever on the Srixon ZXiU Iron.
i-FORGED
The use of Condensed Forging in the high-toe area and along the topline enhances both strength and feel. The forged faces of the Srixon ZXiU are softened to improve the already exceptional feel, and the addition of tungsten weighting optimizes the center of gravity for perfect performance. Our pursuit of the best-feeling irons continues with i-Forged—our latest step forward in golf iron metallurgy.
MAINFRAME
The Srixon ZXiU Utility Iron incorporates MainFrame, a system of milled channels on the back of the iron face. This design reduces weight while adding more moment of inertia (MOI). When the ball strikes the face, MainFrame amplifies ball speed and improves forgiveness, giving you more control and distance on each shot.
TOUR V.T. SOLE
For the first time, the Srixon ZXiU Utility Irons feature the Tour V.T. Sole. This proprietary design combines sole widths, bounce angles, and notches that ensure a smooth glide through the turf—without sacrificing speed.
UTILITY IRON SHAPE
With its wide soles and minimal offset, the Srixon ZXiU Utility Iron boasts an appealing look at address and offers a forgiving, hollow design. It’s no surprise that professional golfers love the performance of these long irons.
